Do I need to book?
Advance Booking for all visits and performances is essential.
What time do doors open?
The doors open 90 minutes before the performance start time. Please do not arrive before that time.
What is your latecomers policy?
Latecomers are allowed. We will squeeze you in during an appropriate moment in the performance.
Are refreshments available?
For your convenience, a range of wine, beer, cider and soft drinks will be available during your visit from our licensed on site bar. We also sell a delicious selection of local ice-creams.
Can I buy food on site or can I bring a picnic?
Yes to both questions! We have a fantastic local chef, Kit Bamford of KB Catering offering a delicious selection of tasty snacks. Everyone loves a picnic. If you do decide to bring a picnic, we request that you take everything home with you.
Can I bring a dog?
No. We love dogs, however we do only allow assistance dogs at our events.
Do you have access for wheelchair users?
Yes. Our Amphitheatre is accessible to everyone and we have a specific row for those with wheelchairs.
Can I come with my carer?
Yes, carers need to book their tickets via the online box office. There is no charge for the ticket however there is the standard booking fee. Please make yourself known to us on your arrival and we will assist you as necessary.
Can I park my vehicle?
Yes, plenty of free parking. We have car park attendants on site. Please have your tickets ready to show upon arrival.
Can I park my bicycle?
Yes, we have bicycle racks. We would request that you bring your own lock.
Are there toilets?
Yes, we have a number of toilets on-site.
What is your wet weather policy?
The Show must go on! Please dress appropriately for the weather conditions. We are an open air theatre and will only cancel an event in extreme weather conditions. Please note that the use of umbrellas is not permitted during performances in considertion of other audience members.
What should I bring?
It can be hot at the amphitheatre, so we suggest you wear a hat for comfort. It can get cold quickly in the evening, so bring warm clothing even if the day has been hot.
Our seating is on grass, you may wish to bring a chair, a cushion or rug to sit on. (Please note – cushions cannot be hired in the theatre at this time.)
Due to space limitations, public safety and safety of the infant, wheeled buggies and other infant seating (such as car seats) cannot be admitted to the amphitheatre for performances and visits. We recommend that babies are carried around the amphitheatre in slings and carriers.
Do you offer refunds?
If an event is cancelled due to extreme weather conditions, a full refund will be given. Unfortunately, we cannot offer an individual refund or exchange.
