Accessibility
Amphitheatre access
From both our main parking area and our designated Disabled Parking area, access to the amphitheatre is across a level grassed cricket outfield. Our friendly volunteers are on hand to assist those using our pre-booked Disabled Parking area, which is approximately 50m from the amphitheatre, and will show you to our accessible front row terrace. This has been surfaced with astro-turf and is at the same level as our site entrance. We have a wheelchair available to assist patrons. Please ask on the day and we will help you. However, please note that we do not provide seating and you will need to bring your own chair.
If you require any additional leg room or require a front row seat, please email info@lenchestheatre.co.uk and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Wheelchair spaces/Step free access
Our wheelchair and companion spaces are in a prime front row location for anyone who requires step-free, easily accessible seating. Patrons transferring into their own seat will be asked to leave their wheelchair in our storeroom, so as not to block any other patrons.
Free carer tickets
For patrons who are unable to attend a performance alone, these tickets can be booked online via Ticket Tailor.
Accessible toilets
Our toilets including two accessible toilets are located near the Cricket Pavilion Tea Room (ground floor).
Assistance dogs
We welcome all assistance dogs and are more than happy to look after them if you do not wish to take them into the performance.
Hearing
As we are an outdoor venue we do not provide a hearing loop for our performances. Also, most of our performers do not use microphones. The amphitheatre layout provides excellent acoustics but please bear this in mind if you have hearing difficulties.
Box Office
All our Volunteers carry hand held scanning devices so are able to scan your ticket on arrival.
