The Amphitheatre
The Amphitheatre is an open air theatre which seats up to 250 people, there are 9 rows of terraced seating and one stair aisle with a handrail.
The seating area is on grassed terraces so you may wish to bring a low backed chair, cushion or rug. Kindly note we don’t provide any seating.
Please dress appropriately for the weather conditions – there is no shade or rain cover. During hot weather, we recommend you wear sunscreen, bring a hat and drink plenty of water. The use of umbrellas or sunshades is not allowed during performances in consideration of other audience members. We will only cancel an event in extreme weather conditions under which circumstances a full refund will be given.
Wheeled buggies and other infant seating (such as car seats) cannot be admitted to the amphitheatre for performances. We recommend that babies are carried in slings or carriers.
The Amphitheatre Bar
This is the perfect place to begin your outdoor theatre experience. Open 90 minutes prior to the start of all our performances. You can choose from a selection of wines, beers and soft drinks.
The Amphitheatre Cafe
Why not indulge in some light refreshments, tea, coffee or a slice of cake ? There is a wonderful selection from local producers as well as delicious Bennetts ice cream.
Occasionally the Cafe may be closed, so please check prior to your visit. Please bring your own food and drink if you wish and if you do, we ask you take your rubbish home with you !
