A Timeless Comedy Full of Twists
The story follows Frederick, a young man who was accidentally apprenticed to a band of pirates as a child. Having finally reached his 21st birthday, he believes he is free to leave his swashbuckling life behind and devote himself to defeating piracy once and for all.
But there’s a catch.
Born on 29th February, Frederick discovers that he is bound to the Pirate King until his 21st birthday, not his 21st year. Having only celebrated a handful of birthdays, he finds himself committed to the pirates for another 63 years! With only the famously inept Penzance police force to help him, and his beloved Mabel waiting in the wings, chaos and hilarity inevitably follo.
